IHCA/INCAL Chairperson and ASC CEO Donna Kelsey Recognized as Woman of Influence by IBJ

INDIANAPOLS, Ind., (October 28, 2020): The Indiana Health Care Association/Indiana Center for Assisted Living (IHCA/INCAL) congratulates Donna Kelsey, Chairperson of IHCA/INCAL Board and the CEO of American Senior Communities for being recognized as a “Woman of Influence” by the Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ).

The IBJ Women of Influence awards honors local women from both the public and private sector who have demonstrated professional excellence and leadership in their careers and community service.

Donna has served as a member of IHCA/INCAL board of directors for more than three years, most recently as chairperson. In her role as the board chair representing the largest provider in the state, she has carefully guided the association with a sense of calmness even with very difficult financial and operational challenges that face the sector. Her ability to influence others by communicating effectively and motivating teams to make strategic decisions coupled with her enthusiasm and persistence to achieve tough goals has been an outstanding asset for our association, especially during the unprecedented challenges presented by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“This is undoubtedly a well-deserved honor for Donna who is not just an extraordinary leader but is also a significant influencer in our state’s healthcare community. We greatly appreciate her leadership, invaluable support and contributions, and have deep admiration for her vision of our state’s long-term care sector,” said Zach Cattell, president of IHCA/INCAL.

We are thankful to Donna for her leadership and tireless advocacy on behalf of our state’s long-term care providers and take great pride in her diverse accomplishments over the years.

On behalf of the entire team at the IHCA/INCAL, we congratulate Donna for this prestigious recognition.
