Dorothy has worked in the public sector in Indiana for over 20 years in the areas of financial management, capital projects, and contract administration.  This includes experience in a variety of roles with the City of Indianapolis as well the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA), where she served as the first Deputy Director of the Division of Aging and as the Deputy Director of Government Efficiency.  Dorothy currently serves as a City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works Board Member, a member of the Indianapolis Race and Cultural Relations Leadership Network, a member of the Indiana State Department Health’s Office of Women’s Health Advisory Council, a member of Indiana University National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health/Provider Work Force Advisory Committee, and serves on the Indiana Health Information Exchange Consumer Participation Committee. Her past board affiliations include a Board of Director of the Capital Improvement Board, Marion County Council on Aging Advisory Council, Rotary Indianapolis, and the Indiana Wesleyan University Advisory Board.  She is a member of the American Society for Public Administration, the Society of Human Resource Management and Toastmasters International.
