Dementia Care Certification
Take the path to certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. The Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar is the required seminar for those pursuing CDP® certification and who qualify through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.
HealthCare Interactive's CARES Dementia Basics & Advanced Care is a convenient online dementia care training program that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Those who complete the program will receive a certificate of Knowledge of Dementia Care.
Social Service Designee Certification
Upon successful completion of this 48-hour course, you will receive a certificate to fulfill requirements defined in the state regulations to (a) serve as the Social Service Designee in a nursing facility with under 121 beds or (b) serve as a Social Service Designee in a nursing facility with over 120 beds under the supervision of a Social Worker. Coming Soon: Blended Online CNA Program
IHCA/INCAL is excited to launch a new Online CNA Program in partnership with Academic Platforms, AHCA's preferred provider, that will allow facility-based training programs to incorporate accredited online didactic nurse assistant training in conjunction with their existing clinical training. IHCA/INCAL is finalizing the program development and drafting a resource guide for facility-based training programs to use in seeking ISDH approval for a new or amended training program.
