Kate Vaulter joins the IHCA team with an extensive background in communications. Kate has eight years of experience in the television news field as an anchor and reporter.
A native of Indianapolis, Kate received her B.A. in Telecommunications at Ball State University. In January 2002, she began work as a general assignment reporter for WTWO in Terre Haute. Kate returned home to Indianapolis in November 2003 to join the Fox 59 News team, and for the next six years, covered important issues and events on the state and local level.
In November 2009, Kate left television news to work at the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Kate served as an investigative researcher at the NCAA Eligibility Center and helped to write and create video projects for NCAA and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).
